Voltas History
Voltas is marked as a 60 years old brand, which was founded in 1954. They started to pioneer the air-conditioning and the refrigeration concept in India. In 1969, the first air-conditioning manufacturing plant was established. In 1984, Voltas launched India’s first split air-conditioner. 2000 was a milestone for Voltas when they released India’s first sub-1-ton air-conditioner. From then, there was no turning back for Voltas, as they continued to release new products - namely their inverter and all Weather air-conditioners. Finally, in 2018, Voltas made a breakthrough with the release of India's first Windowed Inverter air-conditioner.
