Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation was founded in the year 1947. The organisation have been active for more than 71 years now. The organisation started with a fleet of 4253 buses, which were destined to operate on more than 1,100 routes. By the end of 1950, the number increase to more than 5,600 buses. As of today, the organisation servers to more than 1.8 million customers every day. The per-day revenue of the organisation is said to be more than 119 million INR.
