UBI History

Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited was founded in the year 2000. The organisation have been active for more than 18 years now. The organisation have faced total losses of 29,000 and 55,000 crores INR. This is why the organisation is finding it hard to make payments to the other organisations from where electricity is being borrowed. Even though the demands for electricity is growing rapidly, the infrastructure is scarce in Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, Shell Companies were introduced to lower the losses and thus make the infrastructure better.
