About Ttd
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams or commonly known as Ttd, which is a trust that independently maintains the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple which is located at Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, the current trust very much controls all the operations of the temple, and also the finances as well. TTD is one of the most visited centres of religion in the world, and even the second most richest religious centre is the world as well. The temple is very much involved in various religious and social activities. Other activities include educational and literary activities as well. The headquarters of the temple is situated at Tirupati. There are about 16,000 people currently working at the temple.

The temple of Ttd was established in the year 1932. This was due to the fact that the Ttd Act also came into force in the year 1932 as well. This act allowed the temple to have about seven members of the administration, along with even a paid commissioner as well. This was all appointed by the Government Of Madras. There were also two advisory councils set up as well. One committee helped in the operations of the temple and priests, and the other one was composed of farmers who all used to provide advice, that was needed for the land and estate transactions of Tirumala. In the year 1969, the provisions of Ttd was expanded. Therefore, the number of members was increased from five to eleven. In the year 1987, the number of members was increased to fifteen. As of the current day, any non-Hindus entering the temple has to sign a declaration form saying that the said person has faith in the God or Deity of the temple.
