Torrent Power Limited was founded in the year 1996. The company has been operational for more than 20 years now. In the years 2005 and 2006, the company further expanded into three more companies that will deal with the distribution of electrical power. In the year 2009, the company struck a deal with the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited to supply electrical power in places like Agra and Kanpur.
