TNT Express was actually founded in the year 1946, as Thomas Nationwide Transport. But, the company was made as a separate entity in the year 2011. In the year 1967, the company Alltrans was merged with TNT. The company was then mostly serving in the country of Australia and New Zealand, and slowly expanded to more countries. The company started to ship products via land, air and also water as well. In the year 2015, FedEx decided to buy the company, which was completed in the year 2016. In the year 2017, the company was crippled by a cyberattack, known as NotPetya.
