Symphony History

​Symphony was founded in the year 1988. The company has been operational for 30 years now. The founder of the company was Achal Bakeri. It was in the year 1990 that Symphony launched their first advertisement on Indian television. In the year 1994, the company was transformed into a public limited company and therefore was listed at Delhi, Bombay and also Ahmedabad stock exchanges. In the year 2000, the most massive air cooler was introduced by the company, called by the name Sumo. In the year 2005, the company launched the Sauna Water Heater. By 2006, the company had expanded into 33 different countries around the world. In the year 2009, it launched India's first five stars rated water heater. The same year, the company also acquired the company IMPCO of USA. Symphony introduced industrial cooler in the Indian market in the year 2010, and also launched remote controlled air coolers by 2011 as well.
