Saraswat Bank History

​Saraswat Bank was founded in the year 1918. In the year 1979, the bank got the first allowing in dealing with Foreign Exchange. Again, in the year 1988, the bank acquired the scheduled status from the Reserve Bank of India. The bank has currently its presence in over 58 countries all over the world. This allows the bank to support nine different currencies and having 162 bank branches as well. In the year 2007, the bank revenue was counted at more than 15,000 crore INR. During the year 2013-2014, the bank launched the Rupay EMV Debit Cards to its customers, along with a collaboration with Bank of Baroda. As of the year 2018, the bank has about 281 computerised branches all over India.
