Infocus Corporation was founded in the year 1986. The founders of the company were Paul Gulick and Steve Hix. The company opened its headquarters in Oregon, USA, in the year 2002. At that time there are about 1,200 people were employed. In the year 2005, the company acquired TUN or The University Network and then sold off again in the year 2006. During that time, the company also became a public limited company, and its stocks were being traded in the NASDAQ Stock Exchange. But, in the year 2009, the company was again transformed into a private limited company. The number of employees was also reduced to 110 employees. In the year 2012, the company generated about $150 million in revenues, and the number of employees was down to 90. In the year 2015, Mark Housley was named as CEO of the company.
