The company, iBall, was founded in the year 2001. The company started its business by selling computer mice. As of the year 2018, the company sells laptops, tablets, routers, CCTV cameras, DVRs, gadgets, accessories, IT peripherals, etcetera. In the year 2014, the company launched a mobile phone specifically for women. The mobile phone had an emergency SOS button, which if pressed would start an alarm and alert the nearby people, and also sends text messages to five selected people. In the year 2015, the company launched its tablet PC, known as the iBall Slide, which was done in collaboration with iBall and Microsoft. In the year 2016, the company launched the most affordable laptop, in conjunction with Microsoft Windows, called the iBall Comp book. The laptop only costs around 9,999 INR.
