Hindware History

Hindware was founded in the year 1960. During that time, the first manufacturing plant of the company was established in Bahadurgarh in Haryana, Delhi, India. The production was started in the year 1962. It was in the year 1969 that the name of the company was changed from Hindustan Twyfords Limited to HSIL. In the year 1986, the manufacturing engines were improved, and in the year 1989, the manufacturing capacity was expanded. In the year 1991, the company introduced the Hindware brand. In 1996, the company passed the 100 crore INR milestone for revenue. Again, in the year 2007, the company passed the 500 crore INR mark as well. In the year 2011, the company launched another premium brand, known as Benelave. As of the year 2013, the company was awarded by ZEE, as the Best Bathroom Fixtures.
