Hike History

Hike Messenger was founded in the year 2012. The smartphone application has been operational for six years now. The founder of the messaging service was Kavin Bharti Mittal. In the year 2016, the company raised about $175 million, from big-name companies such as Tencent and Foxconn. Due to this recent funding, the total valuation of the company has reached $1.4 billion. This made Hike the youngest start-up to reach this level of valuation and therefore achieved the ‘unicorn status’ as well.
