GoAir History

Go Air was founded in the year 2005. The founder of the company is Jehangir Wadia, who also happens to be the managing director of the company as well. The airlines started its operation with an inaugural flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. In the year 2008, the company announced plans of expanding to the South and North-East states of India. In the year 2013, JP Morgan was instituted to find potential investors for the company. In the year 2016, the company accepted the delivery of their 20th aircraft, which made the company eligible for international flights.
