GO Indigo History

GOindigo was founded in the year 2005. The company has been active for more than ten years now. The founders of the company were Rahul Bhatia and Rakesh Gangwal. The airline started its operations in the year 2006. As of the year 2010, the company had a market share of 17.3 per cent in the India market. In the year 2001, the company stroke a deal of 180 Airbus 320 for $15 billion. In the year 2012, the company became the largest airline company in the country. It was in the year 2015 that the company called its IPO or Initial Public Offering, and therefore the company was made a limited public entity.
