Digibank History

​Digibank was founded in the year 1968. The bank has been operational for 50 years now. The former name of the bank was The Development Bank of Singapore Limited, which was later changed to DBS Bank in the year 2003. The bank was set up by the Government of Singapore. It is by far the largest bank in south-east Asia. The company had won awards for being the safest bank in Asia, for six years, from the year 2009 to 2015. In the year 2016, the company had also won the Best Digital Bank award from Euromoney. As of the year 2018, the bank was named as the World’s Best Bank, by Global Finance.
