DHBVN History

Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam was established in the year 1999. The organisation has been active for the last 20 years. In the year 1998, the Haryana State Electricity Board was divided into two parts, known as the Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited and the Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited. In the year 1999, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited was further divided into Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, for powering the northern and southern part of Haryana respectively.
