History
Delhivery was founded back in May 2011, when the online shopping world in India was just starting to rise up. The founders of Delhivery were Kapil Bharati, Sahil Barua, Bhavesh Manglani, Suraj Saharan and Mohit Tandon. At first, the services were only offered in Delhi NCR, where Delhivery used to deliver food and flowers for the local stores. The team size was 150+ members back then. It received the first round of funding from Times Internet Limited in April 2012. Delhivery slowly started to grow and by 2015, it was already a company with 15,000+ members. It received funding from investors like Tiger Global Management and Nexus Venture Partners as well. In 2016, Delhivery completed the milestone of delivering 100 million shipments, all over India.
