History
Craftsvilla was founded in the year 2011. The company got its funding from Nexus Venture Partners and Lightspeed Venture Partners in the same year. At that time only 80 employees were working for that company. By 2012, the company almost depleted its ten crore funding, and was downsized to just ten members and worked in a single room. Both in the year 2013 and 2014, the company saw a 6 percent month on month growth. In 2015, it raised another $18 million, and the same year again $34 million. The month on month growth grew to 10 percent, and almost 200 people were working in that company. In 2016, it launched an in-house female brand known as Avanya. In 2017, another brand named Anuswara was launched.
