In 2006, Cleartrip was founded. The company first acted as a hotel and air aggregator. The founders were Stuart Crighton and Hrush Bhatt. In 2010, the business was expanded overseas, to UAE. In 2012, the company started operating in various places like Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etcetera. Cleartrip also has options to do last minute hotel and travel bookings as well. In 2012, the company launched both its iPhone and Android smartphone apps. In the year 2017, Google partnered with Cleartrip to provide services along with Google Flights. In the year of 2018, Cleartrip acquired a Saudi Arabia based travel aggregator that functions online, known as Flyin. This deal will help the company reach a broader range of audience.
