Cigna TTK was founded in the year 1918. The company has been operational for more than 100 years now. The TTK Group’s headquarters is based in Chennai, India. The TTK Group has been engaged in various other businesses, apart from providing health insurance services along with Cigna, e.g. medical devices, contraceptive devices, goods for the consumers, etcetera. TTK Group owns 74 per cent of the company, while the rest is owned by Cigna. The company started its operations in India, in the year 2014, after getting IRDA approval in 2013.
