About Central Bank of India
Central Bank of India is one of the oldest and largest banks, based in India. The headquarters of the bank is based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The bank provides banking and other types of financial services. The bank also has collaborated with Bank of India, Bank of Baroda and even the Zambian Government as well. The Zambian Government currently holds about 40 percent stake in the bank. The other two banks each have a 20 percent share in the organization. Central Bank of India was founded in the year 1911. The bank has been operational for more than 106 years now. The founder of the bank was Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala. During that time, Sir Pherozeshah Mehta was announced as Chairman of the banking organization. It was one of the first commercial banks to be established in India.
