Central Bank of India History

Central Bank of India was founded in the year 1911. The bank has been operational for more than 106 years now. The founder of the bank was Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala. During that time, Sir Pherozeshah Mehta was announced as Chairman of the banking organization. It was one of the first commercial banks to be established in India.
