Asianet Broadband was founded in the year 1993. Since then, the company had mainly grown in its reach and size as well. The company offers various types of broadband and cable TV service packages. In the year 2012, the company started providing HD channels service, to over 40 HD TV channels in Kerala. The service has also been expanded to other states such as Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. Their broadband service is one of the earliest broadband services in Kerala. As of the year 2015, the maximum speed provided by the broadband is 100 Mbps. Their system uses Cisco DOCSIS 3 technology, which helps them in delivering these speeds.
