APSRTC stands for Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. They help in providing the best possible services to the passenger, regarding Bus Transport Services. They offer various types of transport services by bus, including Economy class, AC Sleeper class, AC Semi-sleeper class, Non-AC class and finally Luxury AC class. APSRTC provides reservation facility for all of their 3,294 different types of services they currently offer. Almost 1.33 lac number of seats are being proposed for current or advance reservation facility for the passengers, every day. These bus services are being improved on a daily basis, to enhance the experience of the passengers. The bus services are being provided mostly around Andhra Pradesh, and the surrounding states as well, including Telangana, Chennai, Vellore, etcetera. APSRTC started its operations in the year 1958, on January 11. The service has been operational for over 60 years now. Its headquarters are located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. However, after Telangana was separated from Andhra Pradesh, from June 2015, it only started to mainly operate in the Andhra Pradesh region, with the surrounding states as well. In 1999, October 31st, APSRTC recorded the largest bus fleet in the world and was entered into the Guinness Book Of World Records. APSRTC was also responsible first for introducing computerization of various bus depots. As of today, in 2018, all 126 bus depots have been computerized. APSRTC also obtained the best Road Safety Record for 2012-13 as well.
