Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited was founded in the year 2000. The company has been operational for more than 18 years now. The public limited company was formed under the 1956 Companies Act rules and regulations. In the year 2014, when Andhra Pradesh was divided from Telangana, two more districts, known as Anantapur and Kurnool were added to the other six districts, making a total of eight southern districts.
