It is a telecommunication company that thrives in offering fiber to home internet connection services to its customers located in the various parts of India. ACT’s major customers are situated in New Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka. In terms of subscribers, it has over 1.22 million and was ranked the third telecommunication company to provide wired broadband services in India as of June 2017.

Atria Convergence Technologies (ACT) Limited was established in 2000 by Raju Sunder in Bengaluru. However, by 2008, India Value Fund Advisors (IVFA) acquired a larger share of the company’s equity. One year later ACT Fibernet acquired Beam Telecom Pvt Ltd. to offer broadband services under the Brand name Beam Fiber. By July 2014, ACT had 80% of the equity of Beam Fiber resulting in a joint venture that would be called ACT Fibernet. In 2015, following the merger, ACT Fibernet expressed the plan of delivering internet to homes upto a speed of 100mb/s. In 2017, ACT launched the 1GB/s wired broadband speed making it the first one of its kind in India.
